Eligibility

To get a Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate you must meet the following requirements:

  • After one month of marriage, the bride groom may apply for divorce.

Documents Required

The following documents are required to be submitted for the Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate:

  • Four passport-sized pictures of the bride and groom
  • Birth certificates or mark sheet of bride and groom

  • If the delay of more than 21 days, both sides (bride/groom) must write a letter.
  • If the wedding is conducted by a priest who is registered or Arya Samaaj, an official certificate of a clergyman or an institute must be provided
  • Information on two witnesses
  • ID proof for both the bride and groom
  • Photograph captured by the webcam

The Madhya Pradesh State Government has launched an online application procedure. It is possible to apply online in the following way:

Step 2Click"Citizen Services "Citizen Services" button on the homepage.

Step 3Next Click to "Marriage Registration", which will show at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: It will take visitors on the marriage certificate instruction page where all the necessary information will be given. After that, click "Click here to apply".

5. In the next page, click "Select Your City" and select the city's name in the correct order.

Sixth step:After receiving the online application, then fill up and upload required scanned documents.

The payment mode will appear in the application screen after you've submitted the form. Following successful payment an applicant will receive an acknowledgement number and receipt.

This can be sent to the registered mobile number and email. Then, the customer should forward the receipt of payment with all the necessary documents to the ward office.
